Symmetry is everywhere! It's in nature, architecture, shapes, letters, etc.
A figure has line symmetry if it can be folded or reflected so that each of the two parts are congruent. The line of reflection is called the line of symmetry.

I see symmetry everywhere. for ex:

If you stretch a bird out, wings and all, and then you cut a line through the middle of the bird it will be symmetrical! It will work with a butterfly too!

There are many things that are symmetrical for example... A butterfly,ice cream cone,lady bug,leaves,balloon,star fish,not always but sometimes a hot air balloon,and a alligator could all be examples of symmetrical objects!
