Changing Area

CHALLENGE QUESTION!

If the area of one figure to another increased 81 times, how many times greater is the perimeter of this new, larger similar figure?

*Hint* Remember the 'rule' we discussed in class.

    It would be 9 times bigger because 9 x 9= 81 and they are the square root of 81.

    The answer would be 9 times bigger because of the rule you taught us square the perimeter by that number Ex: perimeter equals 4 you need to make the perimeter 4 times larger 4 times 4 equals the new perimeter of 16
